On Death & Weaponry
There have been a lot of updates here at Reddo Games! Tonight I (Baxter) pushed the OnDeathEffect prefab to the cloud for when a player is downed in-game. Also, we made the last minute decision to revamp the load-outs for each player. Instead of generic player weapons, we have a unique character specific weapon that matches each player’s stats, play style, and abilities. We felt strongly this would add to immersive game play and cult followings for each player as our fans lean more and more heavily into the combat roles they feel best suited for.
What else is new?
Well, we are officially a business, we are officially funded, and we have officially applied for our Steam account! Pretty soon we will have our Steam page up and running pending approval. Then, it’s off to playtesting! Playtesting will be limited to a select few, and the goal is to get as much constructive feedback about the game play and user experience as possible.
